Connect your Concept2 Logbook to VS Code

ErgStats is a free, read-only MCP server that lets VS Code read your Concept2 Logbook. Add it once, then ask about your RowErg, SkiErg and BikeErg workouts in plain language. Anything ErgData or your PM5 syncs is included.

  • 2 minutes
  • Free
  • Read-only
  1. Add ErgStats to VS Code

    Add this to your workspace (or user) MCP config and start the server. VS Code opens the sign-in page.

    .vscode/mcp.json
    {
      "servers": {
        "ergstats": {
          "type": "http",
          "url": "https://www.ergstats.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. Sign in with Concept2

    VS Code opens ErgStats in your browser. Sign in with your Concept2 Logbook account and approve read-only access. ErgStats never sees your password and can’t add, change or delete anything.

  3. Ask about your training

    Open the chat in agent mode and ask:

    • “How consistent was my training this block?”
    • “What are my PBs on the SkiErg this season?”
    • “Show every 2k I did this year.”
    • “Break down Tuesday’s 4×500m intervals.”

If something goes wrong

VS Code doesn’t open the sign-in page

Use an API key instead: create one in your ErgStats dashboard and send it from the same config as an “Authorization: Bearer <your key>” header.

How do I disconnect?

Remove ErgStats from VS Code, or disconnect it from your ErgStats dashboard. Access stops right away.
